On April 24, 2025, the Thai Society of Higher Education Institutes on the Environment (TSHE) officially launched the Kickoff Meeting of its new research project on microplastic management and its impact on public health in Thailand, funded by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth).
💡 The visit was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratcha Chaichana, President of TSHE, together with members of the TSHE Executive Committee (2024–2026).
📌 In the morning, a collaborative meeting was held at Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University, with participation from local government agencies, community leaders, and environmental networks.
📌 In the afternoon, the team visited communities in Bang Pakong Subdistrict Municipality and Tha Kham Subdistrict Municipality to exchange insights with local leaders.
🎯 This marks the first step in driving community-based research into real-world applications, aiming to create lasting, systemic change for environmental and public health sustainability.
